Philomene Hoffman is a guitarist, singer/songwriter - performer, whose dynamic voice and guitar leap into personal and social perimeters through passionate story telling and entertaining expression. Her refreshing, original compositions focus on life stories that poetically address issues of self reflection and the environment.

Her music has been described as folk rock with classical influences, blended with a fiery Celtic edge of eclectic violin, flute and percussion.

She received a FACTOR "new talent demo award" in 1997. She expands her artistic, professional career by working with children as an educator.

Philomene has performed in the Parkdale, Artbeat and Cabbagetown festivals in Toronto from 1997 to present.  She performs at various live venues around the Toronto area such as "Hugh's Room", "Holy Joe's", "The Oasis", "Free Times Cafe", "Q Bar", "Mojo's Bar & Grill" in Streetsville, "D/A Durham Art Gallery" in Durham and in Flesherton, Ontario at "Aggie's Cafe" and a variety of community events.

She has been spotlighted at "Canadian Music Festival Week 2001" as a unique and talented performing artist.
