Rev. Kathryn Gorman-Lovelady
and Brian Lovelady
Kathryn Gorman-Lovelady is an aboriginal Medicine Woman, Shaman, Therapeutic
Touch Practitioner, Reiki Master, writer, artisan and minister (Aboriginal
Interfaith). She is a graduate of the University of Guelph College of Social
Sciences with a BA in Psychology, and is a professional medium. Her training
includes such diverse elements as shamanism, healing, university parapsychology,
and the Midewiwin (Healing Lodge). Her past employment experience includes
teaching adult literacy and textile arts, and working in social services and
private business.
Brian Lovelady joined Kathryn's practice in January 1995, and
brings management and computer skills, as well as many years of
social work and practicing meditation. He is an aboriginal
Healer, Shaman, Therapeutic Touch Practitioner and Reiki Master. He is also a graduate of the
University of Guelph College of Social Sciences with a BA in
Sociology.
Brian and Kathryn were married in December 1995. Together,
they offer spiritual leadership as Elders in the
Canadian Métis
Council. Their joint work in teaching and practicing the sacred medicine and
healing traditions is the prime focus of Moonstar Lodge.
