Serving the physical, emotional,
intellectual
and spiritual needs of aboriginal people in Canada.
Wolfe Island Métis Charitable
Association was incorporated on February 27, 1998 as a non-profit
charitable Métis organization. We are affiliated with the
Canadian Métis
Council (formerly the Southwestern Region Métis Council), which has councils across Canada,
and Moonstar Lodge.
Wolfe Island
Aboriginal Interfaith Church
Wolfe Island is also registered as an interfaith denomination in Ontario. The historic formation
of the Wolfe Island Aboriginal Interfaith Church allows our first licensed
minister, Reverend Kathryn Gorman-Lovelady, to perform interfaith and Métis
wedding ceremonies, as well as baby consecrations, and funerals.
Check out Rev. Kathryn's Blog.
